FIELD NOTES: Sunbirds of the Archipelago
This collection began with birds.
More specifically, the birds my mother photographed while traveling across the Philippines.
Years later, those photographs became paintings, and eventually a collection of keepsakes celebrating the beauty of home.
Behind the Collection
Field Notes is inspired by the way naturalists recorded the world. They are armed with patience, observation, and curiosity.
Like pages collected over time, each illustration in this series contributes to a growing archive celebrating Philippine birds, native flora, and the places that inspire us.
