Created by artist and designer Carmine, the studio draws from a lifelong fascination with birds, botanicals, old photographs, family keepsakes, and the stories that quietly travel with us through time. Influences from the Philippines, Singapore, California, Guam, and other places across the Pacific weave through each collection, creating a visual language rooted in both observation and belonging.

Many of the botanical references used in my work originate from a family archive of photographs, including images taken by my mother during her travels throughout the Philippines. While living and working abroad, painting from these images became a way to remain connected to place, family, and the natural landscapes that shaped my early life. Over time, these photographs became part of a growing family archive that continues to inspire new collections.

Every illustration begins with research, sketching, and careful study before evolving into artwork intended for paper goods, surface pattern design, and everyday objects.

The hope is simple: to create pieces that bring a sense of beauty, curiosity, and connection into daily life.
